| Job Description : | A leading US based appliance parts manufacturer seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer for its Busan, Korea based production facilities. The position will be based in Korea. The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for all manufacturing related quality and production issues for a new production facility. In addition, theQuality Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating potential new suppliers and production facilities. |
| Job Requirements : | Qualifications : Must be fluent in written and conversational English. Must have working knowledge of international quality standards such as ISO. Must have basic knowledge of data collection and measurement techniques. Must have production related experience. Knowledge of the metal fabrication industry is preferred Bachelors Degree required. Responsibilities : - Report and monitor supplier performance and drive for continuous supplier quality improvement. - Perform Quality Assurance audits for all outgoing shipments. - Communicate regularly with US and Korea based staff for all production related issues. - Visit 2 factory locations 1-2 times per week and conduct inspections and collect quality related data.
